If your property was built before 1988, Springs Valley Regional Water needs your help.
The EPA is requiring all public water utilities to submit a water service line inventory in order to document any lead service lines owned by either the utility or the customer. Lead was banned by the federal government in 1988, so if your property was built in 1988 or later we know that the line could not be lead and thus you do not need to participate in this survey.
Services installed before 1988 that are not identified will have to be dug up by the utility in order to confirm the line material; a costly and disruptive process that could impact your rates. This short survey will help guide you through the quick process of identification!
